    Reliance Retail Ventures announced the acquisition of a majority 89 per cent equity stake in Clovia, an industry leader in the bridge-to-premium intimate wear category, with an investment of Rs 950 crore.

    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 130 points, or 0.75 per cent higher at 17,412, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start on Monday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    Reliance Industries: Reliance Retail Ventures, the retail arm of Reliance Industries, announced the acquisition of a majority 89 per cent equity stake in Clovia, an industry leader in the bridge-to-premium intimate wear category, with an investment of Rs 950 crore.

    HDFC:
    The subsidiary of the housing finance company, HDFC Capital Advisors (HCAL), has entered into a share subscription agreement for acquisition of 3,90,666 equity shares of Loyalie IT-Solutions.

    State Bank of India:
    The largest PSU lender has lined-up a dozen non-performing assets (NPAs) on sale to recover loan dues of over Rs 820 crore, as per the bank's notifications.

    Jindal Steel and Power:
    The homegrown steel major said its subsidiary in Mauritius has made a prepayment of USD 357 million to lenders. The prepayment will help clear the entire debt on Jindal Steel & Power (Mauritius), it said.

    NMDC: The State-owned miner announced that it has touched a record iron ore production of 40 million tonnes (MT) in this fiscal so far. In the preceding fiscal, the company had produced 35 MT of iron ore.

    EIH:
    The board of the hotel company has approved sale of entire shareholding in subsidiary EIH Flight Services, Mauritius for Rs 55.2 crore.

    Granules India: The pharma player received licences from Medicines Patent Pool (MPP) to manufacture and market generic versions of Pfizer's oral treatment nirmatrelvir. The licenses are applicable for both active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) and finished products, in tablet form, of nirmatrelvir; ritonavir.

    KEI Industries:
    Smallcap World Fund acquired 6.4 lakh equity shares in the wires and cables company via open market transactions on March 16. With this, its shareholding in the company increased to 5.02 per cent.

    NBCC (India):
    The state run construction player has received a work order from Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh, for providing comprehensive, design, engineering and project management consultant (PMC) services for various works. The estimated cost of the project is Rs 500 crore.

    Transport Corporation of India:
    The logistics firm is planning to line up a capital expenditure of around Rs 250 crore for the next fiscal. Of the total capex, the company is expected to spend Rs 100-125 crore on ships and containers.

    Dodla Dairy: The recently listed dairy player said it has acquired Karnataka-based Sri Krishna Milks for Rs 50 crore to expand its business. It informed that the company has executed an agreement with Sri Krishna Milks for the acquisition of business as a "going concern" and on a slump purchase basis for consideration of Rs 50 crore.

    RBL Bank: The private sector said the Reserve Bank of India has granted an extension of three months to its interim MD and CEO Rajeev Ahuja with an effect from March 25, 2022.

    FMCG Stocks: The consumers may have to pay more for their daily essential items with FMCG companies mulling another round of price hike up to 10 per cent to offset the impact of an unprecedented level of inflation in commodity prices such as wheat, palm oil and packaging materials.

    Gujarat Industries Power: The state run utility company has stopped power generation from its 145 MW combined cycle power plant, gas-based station-I at Vadodara, due to increasing price of natural gas after the beginning of Ukraine-Russia war. This plant uses natural gas as its fuel for generation of power.

    Cerebra Integrated Technologies:
    The company has executed a Share Transfer Agreement with a potential purchaser from Dubai for transfer of its entire shareholding of 86.5 per cent in subsidiary Cerebra Middle East FZCO, Dubai. The company would like to focus on e-waste management now being the core business of the company.
