Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: RIL(Rs. 1575.83 crore), M&M(Rs. 1222.38 crore), ONGC(Rs. 799.01 crore), Zomato Ltd.(Rs. 741.00 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 739.69 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 684.79 crore), PayTM(Rs. 669.67 crore), Titan Company (Rs. 669.53 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 656.85 crore) and HDFC(Rs. 650.71 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 18.15 points up at 15850.2, while BSE Sensex rose 16.17 points to 53177.45.

In the Nifty index, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 5.55 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 4.12 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 2.71 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 2.39 per cent) and HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Titan Company Ltd.(down 3.54 per cent), Asian Paints Ltd.(down 3.35 per cent), Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 1.99 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 1.63 per cent) and Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.41 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
