    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 66 points, or 0.36 per cent lower at 18,208, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a negative start on Monday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    UltraTech, HFCL, Angel One: UltraTech Cement, HFCL, Angel One, Sonata Software, Tatva Chintan Pharma Chem, Maharashtra Scooters, Hathway Cable and Datacom, Bhansali Engineering Polymers and Finotex Chemicals are among the companies that will announce their December quarter results today.

    HDFC Bank: The country's largest private sector lender reported an 18.1 per cent rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 10,342.20 crore for the quarter ended December 2021, helped by healthy non-interest income and fall in bad loans provisioning.

    HCL Technologies: The IT major reported a 13.6 per cent fall in net profit to Rs 3,442 crore for the December 2021 quarter and said it expects to see a strong deal pipeline on the back of a robust demand environment. The company had logged a net profit of Rs 3,982 crore in the October-December 2020 quarter.

    Maruti Suzuki India:
    The country's largest carmaker said it has increased prices of its models by up to 4.3 per cent with immediate effect to partially offset the impact of the rise in input costs. The company has enhanced prices across its models in the range of 0.1 per cent to 4.3 per cent owing to increase in various input costs.

    Indian Oil Corporation: The nation's largest oil firm it will invest over Rs 7,000 crore in setting up city gas distribution networks in the cities for which it has secured a licence in the latest bidding round.

    Hero MotoCorp:
    The country's largest two-wheeler maker said its board has approved to further invest up to Rs 420 crore in electric two-wheeler company Ather Energy. The company's board has approved the investment in one or more tranches.

    Sun Pharma: The leading drug maker Sun Pharma is recalling products in the US, the world's largest market for medicines. As per the latest enforcement report by the USFDA, Sun Pharma is recalling 696 bottles of Pregabalin capsules (50 mg), used for the treatment of epilepsy, anxiety, and nerve pain, in the US market.

    Steel Authority of India: The Rourkela Steel Plant, a unit of Maharatna public sector undertaking SAIL, has received a certificate from the Indian Navy for producing high-strength steel for making submarines.

    Oil India: The State-owned petrochem player has exited from a US shale oil venture, selling its 20 per cent stake to its venture partner for USD 25 million -- the second exit of an Indian firm from the US shale business in two months.

    Jubilant FoodWorks: A master franchise of brands such as Domino's and Dunkin' Donuts, said its board will next month consider a proposal of splitting the equity shares of the firm. The board, in its scheduled meeting to be held on February 2, 2022.

    Lupin:
    The drug maker is recalling 50,832 bottles of Gatifloxacin Ophthalmic Solution, an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections of the eyes. As per the USFDA, the company's US-based unit is recalling the affected lot due to "failed stability specifications."

    Vedanta: Industrialist Anil Agarwal-owned mining major said it is exploring investment opportunities in the mineral sector of Saudi Arabia. The company is already in discussions with stakeholders in Saudi Arabia, which is aiming to become a mineral hub in the Middle East.

    NXTDIGITAL:
    The Hinduja Group's headend-in-the-sky platform said it has completed a Rs 69.30-crore transaction for the sale of a land parcel held by it in Hyderabad. The sale agreement was signed and registered with the appropriate authorities in Hyderabad on Thursday and the balance consideration was received.

    Sunteck Realty: The real estate player is on a Rs 22,000-crore potential revenue path by launching seven projects in and around the Mumbai metropolitan region over the next five to eight years. These projects are expected to make it one of the largest realtors in terms of the topline.

    Sequent Scientific:
    The animal health firm said it has appointed Rajaram Narayanan as MD and CEO for five years, with effect from April 11, 2022. Narayanan replaces Manish Gupta who has put in his papers.

    Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail: The Aditya Birla's clothing retail arm said it will acquire a 51 per cent majority shareholding in popular and contemporary brand 'Masaba' promoted by the leading designer Masaba Gupta for a cash consideration of Rs 90 crore.

    Metro Brands: The footwear retail chain has reported a 54.63 per cent jump in consolidated net profit to Rs 100.85 crore for the third quarter ended December 2021. The company had posted a net profit of Rs 65.22 crore during the October-December quarter of the previous fiscal, Metro Brands Ltd (MBL).

    Lagnam Spintex: The cotton yarn manufacturer reported a 107 per cent rise in the net profit to Rs 9.4 crore in the December 2021 quarter, which was Rs 4.54 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal. The revenue jumped to Rs 91.16 crore from Rs 62.8 crore during the same period.
