Sensex plunges ! But these stocks gain 10% or more

NEW DELHI: The domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, were trading with losses on Thursday on account of selling in frontline bluechip counters.

But shares of BSL Ltd ( 19.88 per cent) , Ram Info ( 16.22 per cent) , National Plywood ( 15.79 per cent) , Jinaams Dress ( 13.64 per cent) , Ratnabhumi Developers ( 13.61 per cent) , A-1 Acid ( 12.84 per cent) , Denis Chem Lab ( 11.40 per cent) , Meera Industries ( 11.11 per cent) , Paramount Comm ( 10.94 per cent) and Just Dial ( 10.57 per cent) rallied over 10 per cent.

The 30-share Sensex was trading 824.33 points down at 39,970.41 on Thursday, while the 50-share Nifty index was down 226 points at 11,745.05.

In the Nifty 50 index, 11 stocks were trading in the green, while 39 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Oracle Fin, SBI Cards , Hero MotoCorp, Lakshmi Machine, Tata Elxsi, Asian Paints, JK Cement, Berger Paints, Ambuja Cements and Infosys hit their fresh 52-week high in today's trade. However, WABCO India and Coal India Ltd touched their new 52-week low in trade.
