Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 67.51 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 20.89 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 5.77 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 5.15 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 4.95 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 4.59 crore), Bank of Baroda(numbers of share traded: 3.93 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(numbers of share traded: 3.84 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 3.60 crore) and Ambuja Cements(numbers of share traded: 3.32 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 89.45 points down at 17764.6, while BSE Sensex ended down 334.98 points at 60506.9.

On the other hand, Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 3.69 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.84 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.68 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.41 per cent) and Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 1.87 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
