Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Hardwyn India, Beardsell Ltd, Arvind SmartSpaces, R Systems Intnl and V-Marc India, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 46.65 points down at 18487.75 amid selling in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Praxis Home Retail, Goenka Diamond, Sintex Plastics Tech, Lexus Granito(India)and Future Enterprises (DVR), touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Apollo Hospital, Divis Labs, Tata Motors, Bajaj Auto and Asian Paints were among top gainers during the day, while Coal India Ltd, Kotak Bank, Bharti Airtel, SBI Life and HDFC Life ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 193.7 points down at 62428.54.

Traders piled up positions in IT - Hardware, Trading, Packaging, Cables and Agro Processing sectors, while selling was witnessed in Real Estate, Mining, Holding Company, IT Enabled Services and Airlines sectors during the day.
