Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Shares of Skipper Ltd, Dharmaj Crop Guard Ltd., Central Bank, Punjab Sind Bank and Adroit Infotech, hit their fresh 52-week highs during Thursday's trade on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty closed 48.85 points up at 18609.35 amid buying in frontline bluechip counters.

However, stocks such as Vaxtex Cotfab, DJ Mediaprint & Logi, Ambani Organics, Osia Hyper Retail and South West Pinnacle, touched their fresh 52-week lows.

Overall, 27 shares ended in the green in Nifty50 index, while 23 closed in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, L&T, Eicher Motors and Hindalco were among top gainers during the day, while Sun Pharma, Divis Labs, Power Grid, TCS and NTPC ended in the red.

The BSE Sensex closed 160.0 points up at 62570.68.

Traders piled up positions in Telecommunications, Airlines, Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock, IT - Hardware and Construction sectors, while selling was witnessed in Services, IT Enabled Services, NBFC, Miscellaneous and Learning & Education sectors during the day.
