    Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

    NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Monday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

    Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Regency Investments(20.0%), OM Metal Infra(20.0%), Glittek Granite(20.0%), Leading Leasing Fin(19.99%), Quick Heal Tech(19.98%), Keynote Financial(19.97%), Electrotherm(19.96%), Ador Multiprod(19.59%), Morgan Ventures(19.03%) and Kranti Industries(16.96%).

    The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 760.37 points up at 54521.15, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 229.3 points up at 16278.5.

    In the Nifty50 index, 42 stocks closed in the green, while 8 stocks ended in the red.

    Meanwhile, stocks such as Superhouse Ltd, Maruti Interior Products Ltd., PSP Projects, Aether Industries Ltd. and Lumax Auto Tech hit their fresh 52-week high, while Sprayking Agro Equip, Vikas Proppant & Gr, Veerkrupa Jewellers Ltd., Silver Pearl Hospitality & Luxury Spaces Ltd. and Eastcoast Steel touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
