NEW DELHI: Around 49 stocks rose to touch their 52-week highs on NSE in Monday's session.
Among the stocks that touched their 52-week highs were Aarti Drugs , Alkyl Amines Chemicals, Balkrishna Industries, Bafna Pharma, LT Foods, Escorts,Hindustan Aeronautics, IOL Chemicals, IDBI Bank, Karda Constructions, Vertoz Advertising, Reliance Industries, Tasty Bite Eatables, Vaibhav Global and Sagardeep Alloys .
Benchmark NSE Nifty index was trading 143.55 points up at 10750.90 on Monday on account of buying in frontline bluechip counters.
Overall, 41 shares were trading in green in Nifty50 index, while 9 were trading in red in the afternoon trade.
In the Nifty 50 index, IndusInd Bank, M&M, Hindalco Industries, HDFC Bank and Tata Motors were among top gainers, while ITC, Bajaj Auto, GAIL, Dr. Reddy's Labs and HUL were trading in red.
The BSE Sensex was trading 429.23 points up at 36450.65.
