Stock market update: PSU Bank stocks mixed; Bank of Baroda loses 2%

NEW DELHI: PSU Bank stocks were trading lower at 11:50AM on Tuesday.

Shares ofBank of Baroda (down 2.47 per cent), Bank of India (down 1.23 per cent), Union Bank of India (down 0.51 per cent), Punjab National Bank (down 0.46 per cent) and UCO Bank (down 0.36 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

While J & K Bank (up 1.15 per cent), Indian Bank (up 0.75 per cent), Central Bank of India (up 0.56 per cent), Bank of Maharashtra (up 0.42 per cent) and State Bank of India (up 0.31 per cent) were among the top gainers.

The Nifty PSU Bank index was trading 0.47 per cent down at 1431.15 around 11:50AM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty 50 index was up 59.40 points at 11329.55, while the BSE Sensex was up 236.62 points at 38418.7.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 32 were trading in the green, while 17 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, SAIL, YES Bank, ITC and Tata Motors were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Vaibhav Global, Rossari Biotech Ltd., GMM Pfaudler, JSPL and Hathway Cable hit their fresh 52 week high in today's trade, while hit fresh 52 week low in trade.
