Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Marathon Nextgen, Tree House Edu, Bombay Metrics Supply Chain Ltd., Hindustan Motor and Standard Ind, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:55AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 193.5 points to 16284.6 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Tembo Global Indust, Vaxtex Cotfab, Debock Sales & Mktg, Rollatainers Ltd and MITCON Const & Engg., touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 9 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 41 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Asian Paints, Titan Company, Power Grid, UltraTech Cem. and Eicher Motors were among top gainers, while Wipro, Hindalco, Bajaj Finance, HDFC and Kotak Bank traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 675.17 points down at 54645.11 at 10:55AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Learning & Education, Glass, Airlines and Building Materials sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Miscellaneous and Media & Entertainment sectors.
