Sensex falls! But these stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Thursday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the red amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Kuberan Global Edu Solutions Ltd.(19.94%), Modis Navnirman Ltd.(18.25%), Pricol(18.02%), Naturo Indiabull Ltd.(16.57%), Pioneer Invest(15.46%) and Sun Pharma Adv Res.(15.26%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 188.32 points down at 56409.96, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 40.5 points down at 16818.1.

In the Nifty50 index, 25 stocks closed in the green, while 25 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Kuberan Global Edu Solutions Ltd., Gujarat Hy-Spin, EP Biocomposites Ltd., G M Polyplast and Fruition Venture hit their fresh 52-week high, while GKP Printing & Pack, Gala Global Prod, Shubham Polyspin, FutureLifestyleFash and Vipul Ltd touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
