Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Reliance Power(numbers of share traded: 10.79 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 9.84 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 7.91 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 7.12 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 7.08 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 6.40 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 6.14 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 4.08 crore), RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 3.99 crore) and Vakrangee (numbers of share traded: 2.98 crore) emerged top gainers in Monday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 103.0 points up at 17936.35, while BSE Sensex ended up 321.99 points at 60115.13.

On the other hand, Coal India Ltd.(down 2.57 per cent), Shree Cements Ltd.(down 1.51 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(down 0.51 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.44 per cent) and Bajaj Finserv Ltd.(down 0.39 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
