    Stocks in the news: NTPC, Infosys, NMDC, Zomato, PB Fintech and autos

    Automobile manufacturers will release their sales numbers for the month ended on November 30. This includes all segments of auto makers.

    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 47.5 points, or 0.28 per cent higher at 17,110.50, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start on Wednesday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    Auto Companies: The automobile manufacturers will release their sales numbers for the month ended on November 30, 2021. This includes all segments of auto makers.

    NTPC: The State-owned power giant said 250-MW unit-4 of its Nabinagar power plant will begin commercial from the midnight of Wednesday. With this, the commercial capacity of the NTPC group will become 67,907.5 megawatts (MW).

    Infosys: The IT major said it will transfer Daimler's High Performance Computing (HPC) workloads used to design vehicles and automated driving technologies to one of Europe's greenest data centres, Lefdal Mine Datacenter in Norway.

    Maruti Suzuki India: The largest carmaker of the country said it has increased prices of all non-cargo variants of its Eeco van by Rs 8,000 owing to the introduction of passenger airbag. The increased price is effective from November 30, 2021.

    Sun Pharmaceutical Industries: The drug major said its arm DUSA Pharmaceuticals Inc has reached settlement with Biofrontera to resolve a litigation over misappropriation of trade secrets and unfair practice, following which DUSA will receive USD 22.5 million (nearly Rs 170 crore).

    PB Fintech: Docprime, a fully-owned subsidiary of PolicyBazaar, has made a further investment of over Rs 10.8 crore in healthcare and wellness services provider Visit Health (VHPL) for a minority stake. The board of directors of PB Fintech approved the proposal.

    NMDC: The state-owned mining company NMDC slashed prices of lump ore by Rs 750 a tonne and fines Rs 200 per tonne, with immediate effect. In a regulatory filing, the company said it has revised the rates of lump ore or higher grade ore to Rs 5,200 a tonne. While the price of lump ore or low-grade ore has been fixed at Rs 4,560 per tonne.

    Zomato: The online food delivery platform has announced the launch of Zomato Wings, a platform to connect investors with restaurants, to help them raise funds.

    Majestic Auto: Shareholders of the company have rejected re-appointment of Aashima Munjal, daughter of the Chairman and Managing Director Mahesh Munjal, as a Wholetime Director and Joint Managing Director for a period of five years.

    Edelweiss Financial Services: The Financial services player said it is looking to raise up to Rs 500 crore through issuance of secured redeemable non-convertible debentures (NCDs). The base size of the issue is Rs 200 crore with an option to retain over-subscription up to Rs 300 crore.

    Go Fashion: ICICI Venture, the alternative asset arm of ICICI Bank, said it has divested half of its 13.5 per cent stake in the recently concluded IPO of Go Fashion (India) Ltd, which owns women's wear brand Go Colors. ICICI Venture had invested Rs 100 crore in Go Fashion for 13.5 per cent stake in 2018.

    Hathway Cable & Datacom: The company has acquired balance 3.64 per cent shares of subsidiary Hathway Kokan Crystal, for Rs 54,880. Now Hathway Kokan Crystal has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company.

    Strides Pharma Science: SBI Funds Management sold 66,400 equity shares in the company via open market transactions on November 29, reducing shareholding to 5.42 per cent from 5.50 per cent earlier.

    Rail Vikas Nigam: The company signed MoU with Economic Policy Research Institute of KYRGYZ Republic, Government of Kyrgyzstan, for development of railway corridor projects in Kyrgyz Republic specially to connect from Bishkek to Karakechenskoye.
