ReutersNEW DELHI: ICICI Bank(Rs. 1474.44 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 1385.87 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1293.38 crore), RIL(Rs. 1233.67 crore), YES Bank(Rs. 835.02 crore), Infosys(Rs. 749.12 crore), UltraTech Cem.(Rs. 694.22 crore), Coforge(Rs. 625.53 crore), Bandhan Bank(Rs. 581.30 crore) and Persistent System(Rs. 566.79 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Monday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 90.9 points up at 18118.55, while BSE Sensex rose 319.9 points to 60941.67.
In the Nifty index, Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 1.87 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.84 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.80 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.68 per cent) and UPL Ltd.(up 1.58 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, UltraTech Cement Ltd.(down 4.56 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.45 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(down 1.10 per cent), JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.01 per cent) and Tata Steel Ltd.(down 0.77 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
