    Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

    NEW DELHI: PNB(numbers of share traded: 37.47 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 22.90 crore), Indian Railway Finance Corporation Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 15.16 crore), BHEL(numbers of share traded: 12.51 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 10.30 crore), South Indian Bnk(numbers of share traded: 10.14 crore), UCO Bank(numbers of share traded: 9.76 crore), Excel Realty N Infr(numbers of share traded: 7.96 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 7.68 crore) and Rail Vikas Nigam(numbers of share traded: 7.44 crore) emerged top gainers in Friday's market in terms of trading volume.

    The NSE Nifty index closed 28.65 points up at 18512.75, while BSE Sensex ended up 20.96 points at 62293.64.

    On the other hand, Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.04 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 0.91 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(down 0.85 per cent), Titan Company Ltd.(down 0.57 per cent) and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd.(down 0.53 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
