Domestic benchmark index NSE Nifty fell 51.4 points to 18113.95, while the BSE Sensex traded 162.01 points down at 60883.73.
On the other hand, Mold Tek Tech, Hisar Metal Ind, Usha Martin, Chaman Lal Setia and Atul Auto stocks hit their fresh 52-week highs today.
In the Nifty 50 index, UPL, Tata Steel, HDFC Life, SBI Life and ONGC were among the top gainers on the NSE.
Adani Ent., HUL, Titan Company, IndusInd Bank and UltraTech Cem. were among the top losers.
