Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 9.82 crore), NCL Research(numbers of share traded: 4.26 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 2.59 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 2.58 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 2.47 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 2.29 crore), MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 2.13 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 1.74 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.41 crore) and RattanIndia Power (numbers of share traded: 1.37 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 12.25 points up at 17956.5, while BSE Sensex ended up 37.87 points at 60298.0.

On the other hand, Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.94 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.10 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 2.09 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.81 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.73 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
