Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Rama Phosphates, Kotyark Industries Ltd., Himadri Speciality, Fineotex Chem and Lemon Tree Hotels, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:21AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 72.6 points to 17454.6 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Uniinfo Telecom Serv, Future Retail, Birla Tyres, IMP Powers Ltd and Melstar Info, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 32 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 18 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, UltraTech Cem., Bharti Airtel, ICICI Bank, SBI and Grasim Inds. were among top gainers, while RIL, Hindalco, Maruti Suzuki, IndusInd Bank and Britannia traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 265.31 points up at 58564.11 at 11:21AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Airlines, IT - Hardware, Cement and Tourism & Hospitality sectors, while selling was visible in Metals - Ferrous, Gas & Petroleum, Tyres, Pharmaceuticals and Irrigation & Allied Services sectors.
