Zee Ent. shares drop 3.05% as Sensex rises

Shares of the Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. traded at Rs 186.1 on BSE at 02:16PM (IST) on Friday, down 3.05 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 176.6 and a high of Rs 286.9.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 41.94 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 4.43 per share and 2.55 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 669,239 shares changed hands on the counter till 02:16PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 17856.06 crore and is part of the TV Broadcasting & Software Production industry.

The scrip has been an underperformer , down 21.11 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 14.15 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 186.65 and Rs 179.35.

Promoters held 0.22 per cent in the company as of 31-Mar-2023. FII and MF ownership in Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd. stood at 36.39 per cent and 27.88 per cent, respectively.
