Sensex falls! These stocks fell 5% or more in Tuesday's session

NEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 497.73 points down at 55268.49 amid brisk selling in frontline bluechip counters.

On the BSE, Tanla Solutions(down 20.00 per cent), Pritika Auto Ind(down 18.52 per cent), Niyogin Fintech (down 14.73 per cent), Zomato Ltd.(down 12.41 per cent) and Anjani Finance(down 11.82 per cent) stood among the top losers in today's trade.

In the Nifty pack, 13 stocks closed in the green, while 37 stocks ended in the red.

The index closed 147.15 points down at 16483.85.

On the BSE, Tanla Solutions, Niyogin Fintech, Zomato Ltd., Sterlite Tech and Policy Bazaar hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Kesar India Ltd., Archidply Ind, Kenvi Jewels, eMudhra Ltd. and Alfavision Over touched their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade.
