    Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

    The NSE Nifty index closed 109.25 points down at 17014.35

    India 10-year bond yield rose 0.05 per cent to 6.03 after trading in 6.02-6.04 range.
    NEW DELHI: Wipro(Rs. 69.84 crore), Infosys(Rs. 42.20 crore), Adani Wilmar Ltd.(Rs. 40.22 crore), TCS(Rs. 38.21 crore), Suzlon Energy(Rs. 34.01 crore), Zomato Ltd.(Rs. 33.92 crore), Suratwwala Business(Rs. 31.37 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 31.28 crore), Tata Steel(Rs. 31.08 crore) and Adani Ent.(Rs. 30.99 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Thursday's session.

    The NSE Nifty index ended the session 109.25 points down at 17014.35, while BSE Sensex fell 390.58 points to 57235.33.

    In the Nifty index, HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 3.16 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 1.34 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(up 1.06 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 0.62 per cent) and Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 0.57 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

    On the other hand, Wipro Ltd.(down 7.07 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.38 per cent), State Bank of India(down 2.31 per cent), SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 2.00 per cent) and Larsen & Toubro Ltd.(down 1.84 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
