Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Saraswati Comm(20.0%), Refex Industries (20.0%), GPT Infraproj(20.0%), Safa Systems & Technologies Ltd.(20.0%), TRF Ltd(19.99%), Gujarat Apollo(19.98%), Arrow Greentech (19.97%), Valencia Nutrition L(19.97%), Olatech Solutions Ltd.(19.96%) and Coffee Day Ent(19.96%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 455.95 points up at 60571.08, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 133.7 points up at 18070.05.

In the Nifty50 index, 33 stocks closed in the green, while 16 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as TRF Ltd, DB Corp., Tata Investment, Modern Dairies and Shriram Asset hit their fresh 52-week high, while Dipna Pharmachem Ltd., A F Enterprises, Rhetan TMT Ltd., Ind Bank Hous and Dhampur Bio Organics Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
