The process of grieving, different for different people, isn't an easy one.

While some let themselves feel a range of emotions during the process, others start new traditions and connect with people. Then, there is the third kind who copes by getting busy with their work commitments, and TV star Shehnaaz Gill is one of them.

After rumoured-boyfriend Sidharth Shukla's sudden demise last year, the 28-year-old got busy with her tight work schedule. At that time, painful pictures of Gill bawling outside the cemetery went viral. Rumours said that the couple had plans to get married in December 2021.

Gill, earlier this week, was spotted on the Filmfare Awards 2022 red carpet. Dressed in a white Chikankari saree by designer Manish Malhotra, she stunned her fans with her chic look.

During the red carpet arrival, the actress played a rapid-fire with ETimes. Her quick wit won many hearts, but some fans sensed a change in her demeanour.

Talking to Bollywood Life, a source close to the actress said that the late actor's death changed her and she wants to present herself as a strong individual now. This is Shehnaaz 2.0 for the world.

"Shehnaaz will be Shehnaaz forever. Yes, we understand people miss her cuteness but that isn’t possible now because she is no more in the Bigg Boss house. People have seen her most vulnerable side and right now she is in a mode of putting her strongest foot ahead this is the reason you will not see her laughing around but she is the same with her person and not one per cent of the girl has changed. Sidharth’s death definitely changed something in her. She has suddenly become a very mature person. And we know how fans miss her innocence badly. But this is Shehnaaz 2.0 and one should accept her this way as well," the source was quoted as saying.

From a special song to a dance performance in 'Big Boss 15' finale, Gill has been finding ways to keep Shukla's memory alive since his death. The actress-singer released a music video 'Tu Yaheen Hai' late last year. Earlier this year, she celebrated her birthday with Brahma Kumaris. Shukla was an ardent follower of the spiritual movement.

Today marks the 1st death anniversary of Shukla.

On the work front, the actress is currently busy shooting for Salman Khan's film 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'. Directed by Farhad Samji, the film also stars Venkatesh Daggubati and Pooja Hedge. Khan's brother-in-law Aayush Sharma was earlier a part of the film, but reportedly walked out.

Gill will also be seen in John Abraham's next film '100%'. The film will also have Riteish Deshmukh and Nora Fatehi in pivotal roles.
