    Nomura raises bet on smallcap multibagger stock

    Earlier in July, Nomura had picked 12.5 lakh shares of the company at Rs 214 per share. So far in the calendar year, the stock has given a fabulous return of about 140 per cent. In the last 3 years, the stock has advanced around 469 per cent.

    Global financial services firm Nomura has hiked its stake in BLS International Services which provides consular services related to visas and passports. NSE bulk deal data shows that Nomura Singapore Ltd bought 11 lakh shares of the smallcap stock at Rs 230 per share.

    Earlier in July, Nomura had picked 12.5 lakh shares of the company at Rs 214 per share. So far in the calendar year, the stock has given a fabulous return of about 140 per cent. In the last 3 years, the stock has advanced around 469 per cent.

    BLS works with over 46 client governments, including embassies, diplomatic missions and consulates with an extensive network of more than 27,000 centres and a strength of over 20,000 employees and associates that provide consular, biometrics and citizen services. It has processed over 62 million applications to date globally.

    BLS International is the only listed company in this domain with operations in 66 countries.

    The smallcap stock, with a market cap of about Rs 4,700 crore, ended 3 per cent down at Rs 227.95 on Monday.
