Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 12.40 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 12.12 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(numbers of share traded: 11.55 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 10.90 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 8.61 crore), Ambuja Cements(numbers of share traded: 7.96 crore), IDFC First Bank(numbers of share traded: 6.19 crore), Bank of Baroda(numbers of share traded: 5.88 crore), ITC(numbers of share traded: 5.57 crore) and IDFC(numbers of share traded: 5.23 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 5.9 points down at 17610.4, while BSE Sensex ended up 224.16 points at 59932.24.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 26.70 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 6.60 per cent), UPL Ltd.(down 6.16 per cent), HDFC Life Insurance Company Ltd.(down 4.46 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.68 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
