    Sensex falls! But these stocks gained over 10% on BSE

    In the Nifty 50 index, 27 stocks ended in the green, while 23 stocks closed in the red in today's trade.

    NEW DELHI: A number of stocks rose in excess of 10% on BSE as domestic equity indices, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, ended in the red on Wednesday.

    These high-performing stocks that rallied more than 10% during the session included, Tarsons Products Ltd.(13.78%), Anupam Finserv(12.97%), Vakrangee (12.44%), Rajratan Global(11.98%), Rama Paper Mill(11.8%), Commercial Engg(11.56%), Bharat Immuno(11.43%), Dolfin Rubbers(11.1%), UTL Industries (11.08%) and Kaira Can(10.18%).

    The 30-share Sensex ended 168.08 points down at 59028.91, while the 50-share Nifty index closed 31.2 points down at 17624.4.

    In the Nifty 50 index, 27 stocks ended in the green, while 23 stocks closed in the red.

    Meanwhile, stocks such as Filtra Consultants &, Gretex Corporate Services Ltd., Insilco Ltd, Ddev Plastiks Industries Ltd. and Bharat Wire Ropes hit their fresh 52-week high, while Gennex Labs(PP), Rhetan TMT Ltd., Mehai Technology, A F Enterprises and Naturo Indiabull Ltd. touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
