Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Cheviot Company, Apar Industries, Priti International, Globesecure Technologies Ltd. and Wendt India, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 11:10AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 0.55 points to 15292.95 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as FACT, Fiberweb India, Vedanta, Hind Copper and Sagar Cements, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 24 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 26 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, HUL, HDFC, UltraTech Cem., Nestle India and HDFC Bank were among top gainers, while Hindalco, Tata Steel, ONGC, UPL and Coal India Ltd traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 41.88 points up at 51402.30 at 11:10AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Beverages - Alcoholic, Aquaculture, Building Materials and Cement sectors, while selling was visible in Engineering, Tourism & Hospitality, Agro Processing, Media & Entertainment and Packaging sectors.
