Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 21.64 crore), Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 9.57 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 7.79 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 7.29 crore), Tata Steel(numbers of share traded: 6.47 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 4.87 crore), PayTM(numbers of share traded: 4.55 crore), Easy Trip Planners Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 3.40 crore), Brightcom Group(numbers of share traded: 2.85 crore) and Ambuja Cements(numbers of share traded: 2.81 crore) emerged top gainers in Thursday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 21.75 points up at 17893.45, while BSE Sensex ended up 142.43 points at 60806.22.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 11.02 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 2.83 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(down 2.12 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(down 1.69 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.12 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
