Share market update: Realty shares fall; DLF dips over 2%

NEW DELHI: Realty shares were trading lower in Tuesday's session.

Shares of DLF (down 2.49 per cent) , Godrej Properties (down 1.69 per cent) , Sunteck Realty (down 1.66 per cent) , Prestige Estates Projects (down 1.53 per cent) , Oberoi Realty (down 1.2 per cent) and Indiabulls Real Estate (down 0.76 per cent) were the top losers in the index.

The Nifty Realty index was trading 1.41 per cent down at 206.25 around 12:10PM.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was down 46.80 points at 10716.85, while the BSE Sensex was down 121.5 points at 36365.78.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 17 were trading in the green, while 33 were in the red.

Shares of Vodafone Idea, BHEL, Tata Motors, NBCC , SAIL, M&M Financial, Ashok Leyland, SBI, RBL Bank Ltd. and BEL were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
