ETAutoNEW DELHI: Auto stocks were trading in the positive zone on Wednesday's morning session.
Shares of Bharat Forge (up 3.11 per cent), TVS Motor Company (up 1.77 per cent), Maruti Suzuki (up 1.7 per cent), Balkrishna Industries (up 1.44 per cent) and Eicher Motors (up 1.37 per cent) were among the top gainers.
The Nifty Auto index was trading 1.29 per cent up at 7449.0 around 09:44AM.
Benchmark NSE Nifty-50 index was up 103.40 points at 11198.65, while the BSE Sensex was up 345.13 points at 38033.04.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 47 were trading in the green, while 2 were in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Vodafone Idea, SBI, SAIL and Tata Motors were among the most traded shares on the NSE.
