Share market update: Most active stocks on D-Street today in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Zomato Ltd.(number of shares traded: 13.55 crore), YES Bank(number of shares traded: 4.62 crore), Sona BLW Precision Forgings Ltd.(number of shares traded: 4.51 crore), Vodafone Idea(number of shares traded: 4.34 crore), Bajaj Hindusthan Su(number of shares traded: 2.60 crore), Reliance Power(number of shares traded: 2.25 crore), Ibull Real Estate(number of shares traded: 2.02 crore), RattanIndia Power (number of shares traded: 1.89 crore), Suzlon Energy(number of shares traded: 1.88 crore) and JP Power(number of shares traded: 1.63 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:40AM in Thursday's session.

The NSE Nifty index was trading 38.55 points down at 17905.7, while BSE Sensex was down 136.78 points at 60123.35 at the time of writing this report.

In the Nifty index, SBI Life Insurance Company Ltd.(up 1.59 per cent), Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.(up 1.42 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.13 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(up 0.80 per cent) and State Bank of India(up 0.68 per cent) were among the top gainers.

While Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(down 2.73 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 2.65 per cent), Wipro Ltd.(down 1.41 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.36 per cent) and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 1.25 per cent) were among the top losers in the index.
