Voltas shares drop 4.53% as Sensex falls

Shares of the Voltas Ltd. traded at Rs 1192.7 on BSE at 02:03PM (IST) on Thursday, down 4.53 per cent. The stock quoted a 52-week low price of Rs 681.65 and a high of Rs 1356.9.

Earlier in the day, the stock saw a gap down opening.

At the prevailing price, the stock traded at 69.86 times its trailing 12-month EPS of Rs 17.1 per share and 6.64 times its book value, as per BSE data.

A total of 94,766 shares changed hands on the counter till 02:03PM (IST). The stock commands a market value of Rs 39525.84 crore and is part of the Air Conditioners industry.

The scrip has been an outperformer , up 68.85 per cent in the past one year in comparison with a 49.31 per cent gain in Sensex.

During the day, the stock moved between Rs 1231.15 and Rs 1161.1.

Promoters held 30.3 per cent in the company as of 30-Sep-2021. FII and MF ownership in Voltas Ltd. stood at 22.31 per cent and 21.36 per cent, respectively.
