Stocks in the news: Tata Motors, L&T, Dish TV, Ashok Leyland and Natco Pharma

Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 59.5 points, or 0.38 per cent lower at 15,783.50, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a negative start on Tuesday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

Tata Motors: The homegrown auto major said it has bagged a contract for 65 electric vehicles (EVs) from Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB). The order includes 60 Tigor EVs and 5 Nexon EV SUVs.

Larsen and Toubro: The engineering and construction major launched L&T SuFin, an integrated e-commerce platform for business to business industrial products and services. Through the B2B e-commerce platform, the company was poised to empower businesses, especially MSMEs.

Ashok Leyland: The Hinduja Group's flagship firm stepped up presence in neighbouring Karnataka by setting up four dealerships in the region. The heavy commercial vehicle maker has set up dealerships each in Bidadi, TumKur, Kolar and Hoskote.

Dish TV: The capital markets regulator Sebi directed Dish TV India to immediately disclose the results of its AGM held on December 30, 2021 to the exchanges. The order comes after Sebi received complaints from Yes Bank Ltd (YBL), IndusInd Bank and other shareholders.

Vijaya Diagnostic Centre: Karakoram offloaded shares of the diagnostic player worth over Rs 332 crore through an open market transaction. According to the bulk deal data on BSE, a total of nearly 73 lakh shares were sold at an average price of Rs 425.75 apiece, taking the total deal value to Rs 332.42 crore.

Natco Pharma: The pharma company launched its first generic version of Revlimid (Lenalidomide capsules), in the US market, in dose of 5mg, 1Omg, 15mg, and 25mg strengths for the treatment of multiple myeloma in combination with the medicine dexamethasone, certain myelodysplastic syndromes and mantle cell lymphoma.

Metro Brands: The recently listed footwear retailer has approved an interim dividend of Rs 1.50 per equity share on its face value of Rs 5 each for FY22. The record date for the same has been fixed as March 19, ascertaining the eligibility of shareholders for payment of dividend.

Dodla Dairy: The recently debuted dairy firm said the board has approved purchase of asset, business, and plant and machinery up to Rs 55 crore. It has also approved funding for subsidiaries Orgafeed, and Dodla Dairy Kenya, up to Rs 40 crore each.

Great Eastern Shipping Company: The shipping firm said its subsidiary Greatship (India) has contracted to sell its 2010 built R-class Platform supply vessel 'Greatship Rohini' for scrapping. Greatship Rohini had suffered damage due to a fire incident on board in February 2021.

NLC India: The state run coal miner has declared an interim dividend of Rs 1.50 per equity share for the financial year ended march 31, 2022.

Future Group Stocks: The companies of Kishor Biyani led Future Group would convene meetings of their respective shareholders and creditors between April 20 and April 23, 2022 to get their approval for the proposed Rs 24,713 crore deal with Reliance Retail.

Vikas EcoTech: The diversified company is increasing captive solar power capacity at its facility in Rajasthan as part of steps to enhance reliance on renewable energy and bring down energy costs. The company manufactures speciality polymers, additives and chemicals for rubber and plastics industries.

Arihant Superstructures: Deepak Lohia has resigned as Chief Financial Officer of the realty company. It has already searched Rajendra Pawar to take the position of CFO. The proposal will be kept in next board meeting for CFO appointment.
