Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Syncom Form, Ultra Wiring Connect, Vasa Retail & Overse, Omfurn India Ltd. and Abbott India, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:44AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index fell 188.15 points to 17939.2 amid selling in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as Abans Holdings Ltd., Megasoft, Vaxtex Cotfab, Ebixcash World Money and Manaksia Coated, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 6 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 44 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Divis Labs, Cipla, Sun Pharma, Dr. Reddys and Nestle India were among top gainers, while Adani Ports SEZ, Hindalco, Tata Steel, Tata Motors and SBI traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 598.37 points down at 60227.85 at 10:44AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Telecommunications, Pharmaceuticals, ReIT, InvIT and Hospitals & Allied Services sectors, while selling was visible in Learning & Education, Services, Glass, IT Enabled Services and Miscellaneous sectors.
