Sensex rises! These stocks rallied over 15% on BSE in today's trade

NEW DELHI: Several stocks rallied as much as 15% in Mumbai trading on Tuesday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Stocks that surged in excess of 15% included, Suryalakshmi Cot(20.0%), Bang Overseas(19.98%), RRIL(19.98%), OrissaBengalCarrier(19.97%), Magnum Ventures(19.95%), Daulat Sec(19.85%), STL Global(19.81%) and MPS Infotecnics (18.75%).

The 30-share BSE Sensex ended 374.76 points up at 61121.35, while the 50-share index, NSE closed 133.2 points up at 18145.4.

In the Nifty50 index, 39 stocks closed in the green, while 11 stocks ended in the red.

Meanwhile, stocks such as Weizmann Ltd, Alkosign Ltd., Ravalgaon Sugar, Gretex Corporate Services Ltd. and Telesys Info-Infra(I)Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Spaceage Products, SREI Infra Fin, PrismxGlobalVent, Rel Capital and RelDefEngg touched their new 52-week low in today's trade.
