Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of traded value

NEW DELHI: Adani Ent.(Rs. 4444.59 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 3955.00 crore), Ambuja Cements(Rs. 3571.51 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 3270.83 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 2839.09 crore), Tata Motors(Rs. 2818.59 crore), RIL(Rs. 2786.69 crore), SBI(Rs. 2201.28 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 1505.25 crore) and Dixon Tech(Rs. 1374.92 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Friday's session.

The NSE Nifty index ended the session 287.6 points down at 17604.35, while BSE Sensex fell 874.16 points to 59330.9.

In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd.(up 6.34 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 5.90 per cent), Dr. Reddy's Laboratories Ltd.(up 2.69 per cent), ITC Ltd.(up 1.99 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.55 per cent) stood among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 18.52 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 16.29 per cent), State Bank of India(down 5.06 per cent), ICICI Bank Ltd.(down 4.45 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 3.44 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
