Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: YES Bank(Rs. 1323.57 crore), PNB(Rs. 412.50 crore), UCO Bank(Rs. 403.83 crore), Bank of Maharashtra(Rs. 382.92 crore), Kotak Bank(Rs. 314.09 crore), SBI(Rs. 298.70 crore), Central Bank(Rs. 266.96 crore), IOB(Rs. 242.20 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 222.51 crore) and Infosys(Rs. 216.60 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 10:09AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 56.0 points up at 18664.0, while BSE Sensex was up 183.23 points at 62716.53 as of 10:09AM(IST)on December 14.

In the Nifty index, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 2.10 per cent), Eicher Motors Ltd.(up 1.79 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.70 per cent), NTPC Ltd.(up 1.63 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.43 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Bharti Airtel Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 0.82 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(down 0.45 per cent), Hindustan Unilever Ltd.(down 0.20 per cent) and Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.15 per cent) were among the top losers.
