Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Monday at 11:10AM

Sikko Industries(down 5.89%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 4.42%), ZUARIAGRO(down 4.40%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 4.34%), Madras Fertlizers(down 4.31%), National Fertilizer(down 4.22%), Agro Phos(down 4.07%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 4.03%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 3.90%) and G S F C(down 3.67%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 392.55 points down at 15809.25, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 1361.85 points at 52941.59 at around 11:10AM.

Nestle India(up 0.28%), Hindustan Unilever(up 0.1%) and Power Grid Corporation of India(up 0.04%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bajaj Finserv(down 5.18%), IndusInd Bank(down 4.79%), Bajaj Finance(down 4.67%), Hindalco Industries(down 4.34%), ICICI Bank(down 4.19%), Tata Motors(down 3.64%), Larsen & Toubro(down 3.64%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(down 3.42%), Tech Mahindra(down 3.41%) and Tata Consultancy(down 3.32%) were trading in the red.
