Getty ImagesNEW DELHI: Several stocks plunged in excess of 5 per cent in Mumbai trading on Wednesday even as equity benchmark BSE Sensex traded 46.94 points up at 62728.78 amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.
On the BSE, NDA Securities(down 9.68 per cent), Aadi Industries Ltd.(down 8.96 per cent), Ganesh Films India(down 8.70 per cent), Anjani Finance(down 8.15 per cent) and VEER Energy(down 7.81 per cent) were among the stocks that plunged over 5 per cent during the session.
In the Nifty pack, 31 stocks traded in the green, while 19 stocks traded in the red.
The Nifty index was trading 22.0 points up at 18640.05.
On the BSE, Dhruv Wellness, Welcure Drugs, Fundviser Cap, Pace E-Commerce Ventures Ltd. and Nureca Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week lows, while Technopack Polymers Ltd., Likhitha Infra, HUDCO, MPS Ltd and Kaycee Ind touched their fresh 52-week highs.
