Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:09AM

Bohra Industries(up 1.96%), Madras Fertlizers(up 1.77%), Paradeep Phosphates(up 1.72%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.71%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 1.63%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 1.48%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.42%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.33%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 1.09%) and Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 1.08%) were among the top gainers.

Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.90%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 0.88%) and National Fertilizer(down 0.75%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 11.35 points up at 18410.2, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 19.78 points at 62365.49 at around 10:09AM.

Divis Laboratories(up 1.42%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 1.39%), Bajaj Finance(up 1.34%), Cipla(up 0.96%), Asian Paints(up 0.94%), Infosys(up 0.91%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 0.9%), Nestle India(up 0.87%), Coal India(up 0.86%) and Bajaj Finserv(up 0.82%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, HDFC(down 1.61%), HDFC Bank(down 0.98%), Maruti Suzuki(down 0.68%), UPL Ltd(down 0.45%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 0.39%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.38%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 0.37%), ITC(down 0.34%), Larsen & Toubro(down 0.29%) and Tata Steel(down 0.19%) were trading in the red.
