    Nifty futures on the Singapore Exchange traded 36 points, or 0.21 per cent higher at 17,057, signaling that Dalal Street was headed for a positive start on Tuesday. Here are a dozen stocks which may buzz the most in today's trade:

    Amara Raja Batteries:
    The battery firm has proposed a transaction to integrate the battery plastic component business of Mangal Industries into its fold through a scheme of arrangement. The process involves the demerger of Mangal Industries' plastics component battery business with the company.

    Vodafone Idea:
    The telecom player and state-owned Energy Efficiency Services (EESL) will install 33.3 lakh additional smart meters in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. VI and ESL under a partnership have already installed 16.7 smart meters in these two states.

    Mahindra Logistics
    : The logistics solution provider announced the acquisition of the B2B express business of Gurugram-based logistics firm Rivigo Services, which will help the company accelerate its capabilities in this space. It will acquire the express business including the customers, team and assets of Rivigo's B2B express business and its technology platform.

    BSE: The leading stock exchange has received the final approval from the capital markets regulator Sebi for introducing the Electronic Gold Receipt (EGR) on its platform. This comes after the BSE received in-principle approval from the Sebi in February, after which the exchange conducted several mock trading sessions in the test environment for its members.

    Embassy Office Parks REIT: Blackstone is slated to sell 7.7 crore units of Embassy REIT worth Rs 2,650 crore via block deals on September 27, according to the media reports. The offer price of the block deal stands at Rs 345 per unit.

    Mastek: Small Cap World Fund acquired software company's 5,49,676 shares or 1.82 per cent stake in the company at an average price of Rs 1,759.97 apiece worth over Rs 96.74 crore through an open market transaction, according to bulk deal data available with BSE. Meanwhile, Hornbill Orchid India Fund sold 4,29,086 shares of Mastek.

    Filatex India: The smallcap textile firm has commissioned its project for debottlenecking melt capacity of 50 MT per day and manufacturing lines of 120 MT per day at Dahej Plant.

    Dhanuka Agritech: The agrochemical firm said there are many ghost companies selling spurious pesticides in the domestic market, and demanded a crackdown against illegal trade as it impacts all stakeholders, including farmers. It has three manufacturing units located in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Jammu and Kashmir.

    Zee Media Corporation: Capital markets regulator Sebi levied a fine of Rs 4 lakh on 25FPS Media for failing to make requisite disclosures in a case pertaining to Zee Media. 25FPS Media (noticee) is a promoter of the media firm. The order came after Sebi conducted an examination in the scrip of Zee Media Corporation for the period April 2019-2020.

    Forbes & Company: The Shapoorji Pallonji Group firm announced plans to demerge its precision tools business. The company said the precision tools business will be carved out into a new entity - Forbes Precision Tools and Machine Parts.

    Orient Bell: The tile maker announced completion of expansion at its Hoskote plant in Bengaluru, which involved a capex of Rs 34 crore. With this the total capacity of the company has increased from 32 MSM per annum to 33.8 MSM per annum including 10 MSM per annum of the associated entities.

    Jyoti Structures: The company has secured a contract worth Rs 237 crore from Sterlite Power Transmission for turnkey supply and construction of 400 KV & 220 kV double circuit transmission line in Goa & Karnataka. It will be commissioned in a phased manner by December 2023 and July 2024.

    Dev Information Technology: The microcap IT company has received an order worth Rs 4.97 crore for delivering database management system software along with data centre class operating system software.

    Shree Ajit Pulp and Paper: The paper company said the board of directors are scheduled to be meeting on September 29 to consider the issue of equity shares of the company on a rights basis.
