Sensex rises! These stocks are up over 15% on BSE

NEW DELHI: Several stocks gained in excess of 15% in Mumbai trading on Friday even as equity benchmarks, BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty, traded in the green amid brisk buying in frontline bluechip counters.

Omkar Speciality(up 20.0%), Tips Films Ltd.(up 19.99%), Ansal Buildwell(up 19.98%), DC Infotech(up 19.97%), Techindia Nirman (up 19.97%), Bombay Wire Rope(up 16.59%) and Jindal Worldwide(up 15.33%) were among the stocks that surged over 15%.

The 30-share index, BSE was trading 274.04 points up at 59476.94, while the 50-share index, NSE was 77.15 points up at 17641.1.

In the Nifty50 index, 33 stocks traded in the green, while 17 stocks were in the red.

Stocks such as Tips Films Ltd., DC Infotech, Shilchar Tech, Jayant Infratech Ltd. and Containe Technologies Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week high, while Delhivery Ltd., Piramal Pharma Ltd., Shubham Polyspin, JohnsonCtrls Hitachi and Mehai Technology touched their new 52-week low during the session.
