Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 3.78 crore), PNB(numbers of share traded: 2.30 crore), GTL Infra(numbers of share traded: 2.11 crore), Suzlon Energy(numbers of share traded: 1.92 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 1.47 crore), MPS Infotecnics (numbers of share traded: 1.16 crore), JP Power(numbers of share traded: 1.12 crore), NCL Research(numbers of share traded: 0.97 crore), Zomato Ltd.(numbers of share traded: 0.92 crore) and Union Bank India(numbers of share traded: 0.78 crore) emerged top gainers in Wednesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 45.8 points down at 18157.0, while BSE Sensex ended down 151.6 points at 61033.55.

On the other hand, Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 4.66 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 4.06 per cent), Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(down 3.39 per cent), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(down 2.35 per cent) and Grasim Industries Ltd.(down 1.67 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
