Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks down as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading lower on Tuesday at 11:01AM

KRISHANA(up 2.28%), Bohra Industries(up 1.82%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(up 1.34%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 0.86%), Agro Phos(up 0.75%), ZUARIAGRO(up 0.71%), Coromandel International(up 0.29%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 0.22%) and Sikko Industries(up 0.05%) were among the top gainers.

Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 6.39%), Rama Phosphates(down 2.75%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 2.55%), Madras Fertlizers(down 2.08%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 1.08%), National Fertilizer(down 1.05%), G S F C(down 0.73%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.58%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.47%) and Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.20%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 46.75 points up at 18165.3, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 178.85 points at 61120.52 at around 11:01AM.

Tata Motors(up 2.71%), Adani Enterprises(up 1.76%), Asian Paints(up 1.49%), HCL Technologies(up 1.24%), HDFC Bank(up 1.11%), Titan Company Ltd(up 0.99%), Cipla(up 0.84%), Infosys(up 0.83%), IndusInd Bank(up 0.74%) and Bajaj Finserv(up 0.74%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Axis Bank(down 2.52%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 1.18%), Dr Reddys Laboratories(down 0.91%), JSW Steel(down 0.89%), Bharti Airtel(down 0.85%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(down 0.6%), UltraTech Cement(down 0.48%), Coal India(down 0.46%), Grasim Industries(down 0.44%) and SBI Life(down 0.41%) were trading in the red.
