Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.02% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:21AM(IST)on Friday in an upbeat market.

Prestige Estates Projects(up 1.34 per cent), Oberoi Realty(up 0.9 per cent), Brigade Enterprises(up 0.85 per cent) and Macrotech Developers(up 0.63 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Phoenix Mills(down 0.71 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.66 per cent), DLF(down 0.54 per cent) and Godrej Properties(down 0.01 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.02 per cent at 426.7 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 70.65 points at 17634.6, while the BSE Sensex was up 289.13 points at 59492.03.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 28 were trading in the green, while 21 were in the red.

Shares of PNB, Suzlon Energy, Vodafone Idea, Zomato Ltd. and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Tips Films Ltd., DC Infotech, Jindal Poly Investm, Gokul Agro Resources and AXISCADES Engineeri hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Delhivery Ltd., Piramal Pharma Ltd., Bodhi Tree Multimed, Akshar Spintex and JohnsonCtrls Hitachi hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
