Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks up as market rises

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading higher on Tuesday at 10:34AM

Sikko Industries(up 8.13%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 2.45%), Coromandel International(up 2.05%), Madras Fertlizers(up 1.99%), ZUARIAGRO(up 1.97%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(up 1.50%), KRISHANA(up 1.32%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (up 1.14%), Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.88%) and Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(up 0.53%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 1.90%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 1.83%), G S F C(down 1.06%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(down 1.00%) and Aries Agro(down 0.37%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 30.5 points up at 15804.9, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was up 84.43 points at 52931.13 at around 10:34AM.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprises(up 2.28%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 1.91%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(up 1.47%), Wipro(up 1.38%), Power Grid Corporation of India(up 1.35%), Infosys(up 1.34%), UltraTech Cement(up 1.11%), Divis Laboratories(up 0.97%), Bajaj Finserv(up 0.97%) and Tata Steel(up 0.94%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.37%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 0.69%), Reliance Industries(down 0.58%), Hero MotoCorp(down 0.55%), Bajaj Auto(down 0.49%), UPL Ltd(down 0.47%), IndusInd Bank(down 0.46%), HDFC(down 0.45%), HDFC Bank(down 0.43%) and HDFC LIFE INSURANCE(down 0.41%) were trading in the red.
