Share market update: Most active stocks of the day in terms of total traded value

NEW DELHI: Adani Ent.(Rs. 960.93 crore), ICICI Bank(Rs. 766.11 crore), Adani Ports SEZ(Rs. 564.82 crore), RIL(Rs. 455.56 crore), Bajaj Finance(Rs. 437.95 crore), Chola Inv Finance(Rs. 416.08 crore), Indian Hotels(Rs. 390.89 crore), Ambuja Cements(Rs. 370.83 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 359.84 crore) and HDFC(Rs. 330.96 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange at 11:11AM in Wednesday's session.

The NSE Nifty index traded 164.4 points up at 17826.55, while BSE Sensex was up 598.63 points at 60148.53 as of 11:11AM(IST)on February 01.

In the Nifty index, ICICI Bank Ltd.(up 3.13 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(up 2.17 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 1.85 per cent), Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(up 1.84 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.82 per cent) were among the top gainers.

On the other hand, Adani Enterprises Ltd.(down 3.83 per cent), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd.(down 1.49 per cent), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(down 1.40 per cent), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd.(down 0.80 per cent) and UPL Ltd.(down 0.79 per cent) were among the top losers.
