Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 3.24% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 11:00AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Oberoi Realty(up 6.1 per cent), DLF(up 4.01 per cent), Phoenix Mills(up 3.55 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 3.0 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 2.94 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Indiabulls Real Estate(down 1.09 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 3.24 per cent at 400.4 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 285.3 points at 16637.75, while the BSE Sensex was up 1035.67 points at 55920.33.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 44 were trading in the green, while 4 were in the red.

Shares of Zomato Ltd., Vodafone Idea, ONGC, Adani Power and YES Bank were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Uravi T and Wedge, Ushanti Colour Chem, Impex Ferro Tech, Empyrean Cashews Ltd. and Kohinoor Foods hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Venus Remedies, Mangalam Organics, Ethos Ltd., Xelpmoc Design and Shekhawati Poly hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
