Stock market update: Nifty Realty index advances 0.25% in an upbeat market

NEW DELHI: The Nifty Realty index traded positive around 10:14AM(IST)on Monday in an upbeat market.

Oberoi Realty(up 1.38 per cent), Macrotech Developers(up 0.79 per cent), DLF(up 0.18 per cent), Godrej Properties(up 0.15 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(up 0.07 per cent) were among the top gainers.

Indiabulls Real Estate(down 0.51 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 0.26 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(down 0.08 per cent) were the top losers on the index.

The Nifty Realty index was up 0.25 per cent at 437.25 at the time of writing this report.

Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index was up 165.45 points at 17952.25, while the BSE Sensex was up 584.64 points at 60544.49.

Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 44 were trading in the green, while 6 were in the red.

Shares of Suzlon Energy, PNB, Bandhan Bank, Vodafone Idea and Zomato Ltd. were among the most traded shares on the NSE.

Shares of Varanium Cloud Ltd., Macpower CNC Machine, Satia Industries, Kirloskar Elec and Kalyani Forge hit their fresh 52-week highs in today's trade, while Sportking India, Intellect Design, Lloyds Luxuries Ltd., Gland Pharma and Sical Logistics hit fresh 52-week lows in trade.
